Jesus explains through these parables that the Kingdom of Heaven is present now. Like a tiny mustard seed sown in a field it is invisible to the eye. Also like yeast added to dough, it transforms the dough from within, causing it to rise and grow.

"The Table" is mentioned many times in the Old & New Testament. These scriptures are pointing to God's Banquet Table where believers of every tribe, language and nation will recline, while Jesus personally waits on them!! (TRUE)
Blessed are those servants whom the master finds on watch when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve and will have them recline at the table, and he himself will come and wait on them. (Luke 12:37)

God strongly rebukes Israel over their lack of care for the poor. They were very religious, but they were rebellious and disobedient to God's commands. God tells them to repent and change their ways by seeking justice, defending the oppressed, and taking up the cause of the fatherless.
In the NT Jesus says "Truly, truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it to me." (Matt 25:40)
